Well i am not sure whether this belongs to development or general but its important for many users like me who updated their HOS to t-mous 2.35 ota.
I flashed viper jb rom and didnt get success to use wifi with the current update. so here i am narrating the steps to make this rom work perfectly step by step.
1) as we all know the first step..this is to unlock the bootloader and root the device...
2) next follow this guide to gain super cid http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1674202.
3) next flash official recovery and boot, relock your bootloader and flash RUU_Ville_U_ICS_40_S_HTC_Europe_2.31.401.5_Radio_1 .06es.50.02.31_10.09a.50.04L_release_275655_signed by booting in fastboot mode.(dont go for ota via this official rom as u are having supercid 11111111).
4) get another unlock token from htcdev.com and follow the procedure to flash recovery and then flash the custom rom u want. (i flashed viper 2.0.0) and boom..wifi will work.. :)
i followed these steps and successfully got the rom to work perfectly..u can change back ur cid just in case u need it...
